Meryl

I learned to swim as a child at Swindon dolphins and progressed
to National level.
I used to teach the children to swim at Swindon Dolphins as a teenager.
I returned to teaching when my children were very young and I have
taught babies children and adults for 30 years.
I swim for Crawley swimming club masters section and I also complete
for Sussex.I am qualified ASA timekeeper,and also Judge for Crawley
Swimming club.I also teach learners at Crawley Swimming Club.
In October 2009 I competed in the Nationals at Sheffield and I came second in the 100 metres butterfly , third in the 50 metres butterfly, fourth in the 100 metres freestyle and fifth in the 50 metres freestyle. I also competed in three relays where we won silver medals at national level.
I am CRB checked and also have a child protection certificate from
the ASA.I also have a current Pool lifeguard qualification.

Lyn

I was taught to swim my father at a very young age. I then joined
Crawley swimming club with my sisters, where we regularly competed
for the club.
I continued swimming till I was 17, when I left to go to college.
I returned to swimming when I had my own children and we all competed
in swimming and lifesaving competion.
I took up teaching and in 1996 Meryl and I formed Merlin swim school.
I do seminars to keep up to date with teaching and still compete
in Masters swim competion and I also do triathalons.
I have won quite a few medals, my most memorable being a gold in
the 1500 metres front crawl at the Nationals, I also became the 50 metres
freestyle Champion at the South East Championships at K2 in 2009.

Chloe
I have been a member of Crawley Swimming Club for twelve years
and was the girl's swimming club captain for two years.
I swum at County level for a number of years. I joined Crawley
Lifesaving Club and now compete in lifesaving competions.
I have also been trained in Sign language, and look after a little
girl who is epileptic.
